A 3-year-old child has died following the accident involving Ghanaian actor, Lilwin.
The popular actor, known in private life as Kwadwo Nkansah, had an accident at Amakom in Kumasi on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
The sad incident happened when he was in Kumasi for the premiere of his ‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie.
Lilwin and other victims of the accident were rushed to the emergency unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
It has now been revealed that a 3-year-old boy, Tawiah Ampoma Richard, passed on following the accident. This was disclosed by his grandmother Madam Victoria Nketiah.
She told Angel FM in Kumasi that the young boy was in the front seat of his father’s car when the accident occurred.
Madam Nketiah explained that the father of the deceased is her son-in-law.
According to her, the 3-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital while his father was receiving treatment.
Madam Victoria Nketiah was worried about how eyewitnesses trooped to help Lilwin and shunned her son-in-law and grandchild after the accident.
She was also concerned about Lilwin and his people dominating reports about the accident while nothing was being said about the other victims who were her family members.
