Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has bemoaned how leaders have failed Ghanaians.

She complained about the failure of Ghanaian leaders during an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3’s The Day Show.

While the leaders have not done what is required of them, Forson said Ghanaians have also failed themselves in the process.

“Leaders have failed us and we have failed ourselves in the process. Truly, if we were everything we preach, it would be a better place…it is our responsibility but it is also the leaders’ responsibility and we have all failed each other,” the famous Ghanaian actress posited.

She further raised a concern about the lack of accountability.

“Now we are doing well. We have come a long way…I see a lot of young people trying and it is not easy but then there are also people who say shut up, it is politics…We have a lot more to do. I am amazed at the young people in this country are just fantastic because they are trying,” Lydia Forson stated.

Lydia has been an avid critic of Ghanaian governments. She is known for sharing her views on societal issues.
