Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has been arrested following his car accident.
He was arrested by police at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command just after he was discharged from hospital.
According to a report, the famous Kumawood actor was picked up from the emergency unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital around 6:30 am.
Following the accident on May 25, 2024, which claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy, pressure has been mounted on the police to arrest the actor.
The family of the deceased young boy has been demanding justice for their loss.
However, the police mentioned that the health condition of the actor following the accident delayed the process of his arrest.
After writing his statement, Lilwin was taken into custody at the Manhyia Divisional Police Command of the MTTD for investigations to continue.
The police are also making an arrangement to arraign the popular Ghanaian actor before the court after his statement was taken on Monday, June 3, 2024.
