Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo, has raised a concern about Ghana spending $145 million to host the All Africa Games.
The 13th All Africa Games, which started in Accra, Ghana a few days ago, has faced criticism from the famous actress.
In a post on social media, Afaglo was unhappy about the amount being spent. She tagged it as a misplaced priority.
She questioned if Ghana is rich to spend such an amount on something which is not necessary.
Beverly Afaglo sees the construction of health facilities, building classrooms and investing in stable electricity as top priorities.
The actress argued that hosting the All Africa Games won’t benefit Ghana because the representatives of the country are losing.
