The Black Princesses of Ghana have won gold at the 13th African Games after beating Nigeria.
Ghana fought back to win 2-1 after conceding in the first half.
Nigeria took the lead in the 23rd minute through a goal scored by Edeh Njideka.
Tracy Twum got the equalizer for the host in the 77th minute.
This pushed the match to extra time.
After 90+9 minutes in the extra time, Abdulai Mukarama found the next to secure a 2-1 victory for Ghana.
The match, which was played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday, March 21, 2024, had massive spectators in attendance.
Congrats to the Black Princesses of Ghana for clinching gold in the competition.
