Speculations are rife about Ghanaian singer, Wendy Addo, well-known as Wendy Shay, leaving RuffTown Records.
This was after she made cryptic posts on X.
She mentioned her six-year-old stint in a post about six days ago.
“Been 6 years already? Okay you can go now. Who cares…” she wrote on X.
Following this, Shay on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, disclosed in another X post that her new music video ‘Who Cares’ will not be posted on the YouTube channel of RuffTown Records.
The 28-year-old singer also announced that she is embarking on a new journey—so her followers should subscribe to her channel ‘Wendy Shay’ on YouTube.
For now, RuffTown Records and the artiste have not made any official statement about her leaving.
However, her posts are raising eyebrows on social media.
Wendy Shay was ushered into the Ghanaian music scene in 2018 with her first single ‘Uber Driver’.
