Ghanaian actress and fashionista, Nana Akua Addo, has educated Ghanaian celebrities on what not to be taken to the red carpet.
The famous Ghanaian fashionista advised them not to take their car keys and phones to the red carpet.
She stated that it’s inappropriate and outmoded for celebrities to take their car keys and phones to the red carpet.
Nana Akua Addo said the red carpet is mainly for flaunting elegance and making a fashion statement.
“We should cease carrying our phones and car keys to the red carpet; it’s outdated. Sometimes, you attend a red-carpet event and notice individuals with their phones, and need to tell them to hand them over to their personal assistant or someone.
“Where Nigerians are taking fashion to is on a different level, they are advancing…utterly professional. Their personal assistants and aides are present, ensuring that everything is taken care of before you step onto the red carpet. The focus is just you, your brand, what you are wearing attire; nothing else,” she told Berla Mundi in a discussion on TV3’s The Day Show.
