Funny Face remanded after Kasoa accident

Ghanaian comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, well-known as Funny Face, has been remanded by court after knocking down pedestrians in an accident at Kasoa.

He was given two weeks’ remand by the Ofaakor Circuit Court in the Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region.

Four people were victims of the accident which happened in Kasoa on Sunday, March 24, 2024. The victims were a mother with two children and a motor rider.

The famous comedian was arrested and arraigned before the court following the gory accident.

Funny Face is expected to reappear in court after two weeks.

As of now, the victims are receiving treatment at the hospital, one of them is reported to be in a coma.
