Dominating and having a narrow lead, the home side thought they would end up getting all the points at stake.
But Trent Alexander-Arnold found the net in the 80th minute for Liverpool.
His goal aided his team to secure a vital away goal.
Despite the 8 minutes of additional time, no team was able to score again.
It ended 1-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
As it stands now, Manchester City is leading the English Premier League table with 29 points, followed by Liverpool’s 28 points.
In 3rd position after 12 matches, Arsenal will be in the first position they can win at Brentford later.
