A late goal from Jerry Afriyie has helped the Black Satellites of Ghana to win gold at the 13th African Games.

The u-20 side of Ghana battled with Uganda at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 22, 2024, in the final of men’s football.

With a gold medal at stake, the match was a very competitive one.

The first half of the game ended goalless.

Ghana’s Black Satellites put up an impressive performance to wow the fans who were in their numbers to support them.

Both teams failed to convert some clear chances.

Ghana finally found the net after 90+1 minutes of play following a thunderous strike by Jerry Afriyie.

The Black Satellites of Ghana won 1-0 against Uganda to win gold at the 13th African Games.

This comes after the Black Princesses also defeated Nigeria to win gold on Thursday, March 21 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
