Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has revealed what most actors and actresses in Africa go through to entertain others following the death of Junior Pope.
Junior Pope, a Nollywood actor, sadly passed on a few days ago after a boat accident.
Reacting to the tragic news, Miss Forson bemoaned the lack of safety measures for African actors.
She stated that the African Movie Industry needs and deserves more than just their passion.
The vocal Ghanaian actress disclosed they had survived near-death experiences several times in their bid to entertain and tell stories.
“I’m so triggered by this loss. So many risks we take that we shouldn’t, so many times we’ve survived near-death experiences; all in the bid to entertain & tell stories. Our industries need and deserve better than just our passion. This is why some of us fight so hard for it,” Lydia Forson wrote on X.
