Ghanaian musician, Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, well-known as KK Fosu, has talked about the capabilities of Highlife artistes filling O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom.
He said in a recent interview that Highlife artistes can fill the O2 Arena which is 20,000-capacity.
Fosu made this statement after Medikal successfully hosted a concert at the Indigo at The O2 Arena.
He was happy about the success chalked by Medikal.
“Highlife music is big out there, and I believe some of our Highlife artists can fill the O2 Arena. Sometimes we underestimate the popularity of Highlife music on the global stage.
“I have performed all around the world, and the reception I receive performing Highlife is just amazing. I believe one day a Highlife artist will fill up the O2 Arena,” KK Fosu told GNA Entertainment.
To him, Highlife artistes in Ghana can achieve this feat if they unite.
“Highlife musicians would have to come together and support each other to make this a reality, just like what the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Medikal have done,” he stated.
KK Fosu will celebrate 25 years of activeness in the music scene this year with a concert.
