Ghanaian Highlife musician, Dada Kwakye Duah, well-known as Dada KD, is disappointed in the government led by Nana Akufo-Addo.
He bemoaned President Akufo-Addo has not lived up to expectations after he was given the mandate to rule Ghana.
The ‘My Heart Goes Boom’ singer expressed his disappointment in an interview with Captain Smart on Onua TV.
How the Ghana Police Service arrest critics of Nana Addo’s government, according to him, does not speak well.
He blamed Nana Akufo-Addo for failing—and not the entire New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“I’m very disappointed. It’s not that the NPP isn’t performing well in governance, but rather it’s the Akufo-Addo administration that has let us down. Regardless of whether he approves or not, we won’t vote for him again.
“I’m aware that national security can detain me if I sound too critical. They use such measures to suppress their critics,” Dada KD stated.
How some critics of Nana Akufo-Addo have been treated has received condemnations.
