Otto Addo names squad for Ghana - Nigeria and Uganda friendly matches

The new coach of Ghana Black Stars, Otto Addo, has named his 26-man squad as Ghana gears up to face Nigerian and Uganda in friendly matches.

Lawerence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Wallacott, Frederick Asare and David Akologo are the goalkeepers called.

Alidu Seidu, Tariq Lamptey, Gideon Mensah, Patrick Kpozo, Denis Odoi, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, Nathaniel Adjei and Mohammed Salisu make the list of defenders.

On the part of the midfielders, Coach Otto Addo named Elisha Owusu, Mohammed Diomande, Samed Abdul Salis, Andre Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, Baba Iddrisu and Edmund Addo.

The wingers are Ernest Nuamah, Osman Bukari, Fatawu Issahaku and Ibrahim Osman.

Jordan Ayew and Antoine Semenyo are the forwards mentioned in the squad.

Ghana will play against Nigeria on March 22, 2024 and Uganda on March 26 at Marrakech in Morocco.

After Otto Addo was reappointed as the head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Joseph Laumann and John Paintsil have been named as his assistants while Fatawu Dauda takes over as the goalkeepers’ trainer.
