The call from Yvonne Nelson for another #DumsorMustStop vigil to be held has gotten a response from the CEO of Imani Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe.

In an X post, the famous Ghanaian actress called on Imani Ghana for another collaboration.

She was happy about how they made the first vigil in 2015 a success.

Yvonne Nelson wrote: “Imani Ghana, can we organize another vigil? Ive been waiting for you to reach out like you did years back. (your team made our demo a success ) Im reaching out myself. The NPP and its leadership @NAkufoAddo have taken Ghanaians for granted . #DUMSORMUSTSTOP.”

The CEO of Imani Ghana admitted that the call was fair.

However, he stated that Imani will make the call and choose how they will demonstrate and who they want to partner with at the right time.

He further urged others to go ahead with their own unique protests.

“We have heard the call by the redoubtable Ms.Yvonne Nelson for round two of #dumsormuststop. Fair call even as we (IMANI) have maintained our criticism of government’s bad decisions for what often seem like a rudderless leadership, the latest dumsor episodes being the zenith. So as you can see ( T-shirts), we are preparing and we will make the call and choose how we demonstrate and who we want to partner at the right time. Meanwhile, others can also organise their own unique protests in churches, mosques, bars, schools and homes .#DUMSORMUSTSTOP,” Franklin Cudjoe wrote.

Many Ghanaians are lamenting the rate at which erratic power supply is occurring. For now, it appears any #DumsorMustStop vigil will have a huge turnout.
